And we aren’t talking about the awards that we’re given…
NFL Honours as they do every time put on quite the show, hosted by rap legend, Snoop Dogg, who had his moments in the spotlight as he normally does when given the opportunity. We had Roger Goodell saying “cap” as well as “fo chizzle“. We even had Justin Jefferson and the NFL production crew struggling with the teleprompter.
So let’s get into the other five bigger takeaways that I found:
1) SNOOP WAS IN HIS BAG
This man loves the spotlight like no other and by god did he show it last night. My man put on a Steelers uni and was out their crip walking with the SKINNIEST legs I’ve seen on a grown adult. He even made a wise crack about Bill Belichick’s stupendously young girlfriend.
He’s got my vote to host an awards show again in the future.
2) HAILEE STEINFELD 🔥🔥🔥
Aside from a Super Bowl appearance, Josh Allen is on a heater like no other pro athlete right now. Just received the MVP award last night, sitting beside his celebrity, sexy ass fiancé in Hailee Steinfeld, who I have to mention was looking (Insert ROAR right here). I mean, DAMN, I clearly did not appreciate her game until I saw her sitting there at the NFL award show last night. Clapping it up for her man for the world to see, and it was as if time stood still while we all got to basque in her incredible hotness and sex appeal that she was putting out there. OK, I’ll admit, that was a little bit much. But you know where I was getting at…
3) GOODELL IS OUR HUMBLE HERO
This one you may not have really caught, or notice like I did, but Roger Goodell not sitting front row at the NFL Honours just goes to show that the act of humility is still present in our world of sports. My man was sitting behind Jared Goff and Aidan Hutchinson in one of the middle rows of a section just sitting there with his wife, enjoying the spectacle like all of us were. Him not using the power of his position to sit centre stage or as close to it as possible, goes to show that we are in good hands with this man.
4) THE BOYS BUST-A-MOVE ON STAGE
I don’t even remember who the guys were that were busting a move on the NFL Honour stage last night, but they all deserve their own individual awards for that performance last night. They say there is no more gentler grace on this earth than a 350 pound lineman shaking his stuff for the world to see. I just wish all big men out there, not even on a pro football team, had the courageous tenacity to show ladies at the bar what they’re working with every time they step out of the house.
5) CAMERA GUY GETS WRONG GUY
There were lots of funny moments from the NFL Honour show, but this takes the cake for me, as it goes to show you that we are all human and make mistakes sometimes. The hilarious moment that may have gone unnoticed by many, when the cameraman panned over to Eric Allen during the Hall of Fame 2025 class induction portion of the evening, instead of Sterling Sharpe who is walking down the row towards the stage. And when I say this cameraman made a mistake, he held it for quite a bit. There was no 1 to 2 second quick switchback, whether it is the production guy in his ear or not, but they held this camera on Eric Allen for a good 8 to 10 seconds before they realized they had the wrong guy that they just announced. At the time of this blog I’m not even sure if it’ll be mentioned on the X app, but I do know it was certainly put a smile on my face when it happened.
